Ever since they got bought out by the burger king corporation its all gone to shit. Their previous supplier of coffee went over to mcdonalds in canada which is why mcdicks unironically has the best coffee for the value
(Each mcdonalds restaurant can set their own prices so it can vary from 1.80-2.40 in the area) The only good thing that came from the buyout was birthday cake timbits with a release of breakfast cereal, but all in all that francise is literally shitting the bed trying to say its all manure for growth.

It went to shit in the mid 00s, after they bought themselves back out of the merger with Wendy's and centralized the shit out of their operations. This is when they built the big central baking factory in Ontario and stopped baking doughnuts in-shop.
Burger King didn't buy them out either, they merged together and now they're both owned by Restaurant Brands International, a holding company operated by a bunch of rich Brazilians who have no idea how to run a coffee and doughnuts chain.
