Canned ravioli from Winco, jalapeno ranch style beans, and canned tuna. Though anything canned and fully cooked works.

funny story actually, when my brother was in college he had a roommate that exclusively ate chicken flavored maruchan ramen. didn't add veggies, didn't add nothing. ate ramen and drank water every day. dude started to feel pretty sick after a few weeks, but didn't know what exactly he had.

the dude got scurvy. in 2011.

That's trick question isn't it. because if you eat it then you won't have it around in an emergency.

so how will you know if it's any good? also in an emergency it won't really matter what it is as long as it's edible and even slightly good. I mean if you're in an emergency where the food in your house isn't enough.

I have 4 containers of emergency foods. 3 came from food insurance and one from somewhere else (can't be bothered to look). the food insurance is about 9 years old by this time.

I opened on up about 1 year ago to give it a try. Most of the food was OK to good. only the granola had gone rancid. The gatorade like drink mix was just lightly flavored sugar water. but in an emergency I would have been happy to have it.

I would however say that of the stuff I have tried mountain house's biscuits and gravy is pretty good (just don't over mix it).

Actually all of Mountain hoses products are pretty damned good.

I'd gladly eat mountain house off of an old chevy hubcap when the robot uprising comes.

They're the best in the business IMO but they're super expensive compared to most survival food competitors. Probably because they're generally marketed to campers so there's a stronger focus on tasting good than providing emergency nutrition.
God I love the granola with milk and blueberries.
