I cook a breakfast burrito with 1 egg, 300ML eggwhites, cheese, green onion and salt and pepper.

Costs 50 cents and doesn't involve diabetes.

"Fast" food is not fast in the grand scheme of things. Nor is it cheap.

Guarantee you that your meal is more expensive. Still cheap, but, more expensive than OP.

My grocery store sells a 6-pack of tortillas for $3 on sale.

Whole eggs can be cheap, about $0.25 each, but eggwhites in the carton are not.

My local walmart sells two packs of 250ml egg whites for $3.50 So, your 300ml of egg whites is probably around $1.75 right there.

OR, you crack TEN EGGS to get 300ml of egg whites (each egg has about 30ml of white) and spend $2.50 for 300ml egg whites.

A single slice of Great Value old cheddar cheese at walmart works out to $0.40

Let's say you use $0.10 of green onion and seasoning.

FINAL COST: $3.00 for about 400 calories. OP is 1.09 for just 17 calories less.

egg whites are 1.99 for 1L on sale here

tortilla is $3 for 10

eggs are $1 for 18

cheese is a small amount of shredded cheese

So maybe 80 cents, my bad

why don't you just cook the whole thing yourself, a 6 pack of muffins in 99 cents, the sausage can't be more than 2 bux and you already have the eggs. save some $
