I'm American and I share in your contempt for green decoration flakes. I hate how they add shit like that to the flavor packets in japanese instant noodles too. Worst offender is that Nissin Raoh crap everyone pretends is great. The flavor packets are like 50% retarded green flakes. At least with the run of the mill Top Ramen and Maruchan packs at gas station convenience stores there's only a couple of them in there and you can just catch them with your spoon and get rid of them if they end up containing a bit more than usual, but Nissin Raoh is hopelessly clogged with that shit and it'll all come out your ass undigested, redirecting your diarrhea in weird and unpleasant ways many hours later.
