Let's take a moment to appreciate the beverage that has powered humanity for thousands of years. What are your favorite beers? What do you plan on drinking this weekend? Which type of beer reigns supreme?

I only picked up beer because the good wine store closed at 9 and I don't like the wines the shitty 10:00 closing time wine store has (mostly stuff for pleb am*rican palates). So I got this, which is alright I guess. To be drank straight from the bottle.

I expect to be drinking wine this weekend. Haven't had a cote de nuits in a while, my mouth is watering just thinking about how it will taste.

I know this is an appreciation thread. But this is by far the worst beer I've ever had in my life. Never Again Ale, aptly named. I'm actually not a fan of Yazoo in general. My favorite tequila started keeping their liquor in old Yazoo barrels and I stopped buying.

Has anyone ever tried this?
Someone gave one of my mom's coworkers an entire pallet of this, and she just brought it to me as a rando gift.
It's called "the 12th of never".
Not into beer at all, but I was super intrigued at the idea of a 19.2 oz can.
Never in my life have I seen a 19.2 oz can.
All in all, not horrible. 5.5% abv, so it's weak, but not awful.

You don't. The first time I tried beer I liked the taste. Most beers I've tried I've liked, the ones I haven't I didn't like.

If you've only had basic bitch beers like bud light or whatever, you could try some nicer beers, like dark stouts or porters or IPAs, but you probably just don't like beer.

You might like some liquors or wines or whatever, and if you really just want to get drunk you could do screwdrivers or rum and cokes where you won't even taste the alcohol.
