I lived in Spain for a month, and it was paradise. I was in the US Army at the time as a Texan cowboy, and I have never experienced better hospitality. I was invited to homes by my spanish compatriots and although they made fun of me for my spanish accents (c does not =th), they were good friends. The women were warm and very comforting, and I could fall in love and marry near every day. Sadly, I was young and dedicated, and valued my country over my heart.
