No. Most people I know don't use food trucks. I don't understand why anyone would use them. They're just restaurants except worse and you have to go outside and pick the food up without getting to sit down and eat it in a dining area.
If you're not going to get to eat it in a dining area then just getting delivery would make a lot more sense. And with Uber Eats now you can get any food you want delivered. Even all the major fast food chains have gotten on board with it.
I did see food trucks at my office briefly when HR tried to jew us out of on site food vendors. But I don't think they even lasted more than a month because nobody wants to go outside and get food from a truck.

No.

That being said, I think it's a good thing. People should not be afraid to go into the industry, there are a lot of piss-poor restaurants open where I live in rural America simply because someone had enough money to plug into it and buy presence in a small town, solidifying themselves as one of the few options. A guy with talent and a good idea but only like, 12k dosen't have a shit in the wind unless he wants to run with a ball of debt tied to his dick.

With mobile units you get a much lower start-up cost, a trendy platform and the ability to change your location, which is THE MOST important fuckin thing to a successful restaurant, with only a few new terms of agreement to be filed with county.

How far away is your supermarket that you think driving there will cost more money than buying food from a vendor? I mean this is a retarded discussion either way because if you're having trouble affording food at a restaurant, at a grocery store, or at a food truck then your problem is you need to get a real job because you aren't making any money. But yeah, I don't see how food trucks would ever save you money if you hypothetically imagine you actually had a legitimate need to try to save money on food here in the first place.
