>bake a potato and open it
>no butter
>liberally apply salt and herbs
>add a pinch of black pepper and 1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice
>don't put anything else in unless its nutritional content is similarly negligible
>mash when finished
>you have just made a 200-300 calorie meal that tastes good enough to be ~600 calories
>also manages to effect satiety without significant fat content
>(You) are not doing this every day

realistically prob not, it'll add ~100cals at most assuming you don't go whole ham on it
personally i only avoided it because i've just been diagnosed with gallbladder disease and am waiting for my surgery appointment in 2 weeks and if i consume more than about 10% DVs of saturated fats then i'll have another gallbladder attack

>all hamburger meat from Walmart, maybe another grocer
>boiled in tomato juice and spiced with store bought "chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and sometimes oregano"
Substitute the beans for pasta and you idiots would have some mighty fine Ghoulash considering there's nothing but paprika, tomato juice, and shit meat in that mess. Hot sauce is not a secret ingredient.

fuck no. first one hurt like a bitch, i woke up at midnight, was in moderate to severe pain for seven hours, vomited profusely which relieved some but not all of my pain, spent the rest of the day cooped up in the emergency room in mild to moderate pain, i also felt very weak through the whole ordeal and could barely get my voice out from my lungs. never doing that shit again if i can help it.

furthermore: i'm morbidly obese, weigh nearly 400lbs, i lost 140lbs but gained it all back after my single mother's death, felt so hopeless like my food addiction was controlling my life and i didn't even care because stuffing my face with junk food was the only pursuit worth a damn in life, because i just felt totally shut down, like when you take away meaning, take away purpose, take away values, love, joy, creative spirit, at that point what else is left but carnal pleasure. thanks to this incident, though, i'm once again feeling some small motivation to become an actual human specimen as opposed to a domestic pig. i've already made some progress due to the medical restrictions currently imposed on my diet. i can't jeopardize that by reacclimating myself to high-calorie shit.

yeah it sure is. if you've ever been addicted to heroin, imagine feeling exactly the same way about junk food, because of ill-informed decisions you've made in the past regarding how to cope with the hard times of your life. now imagine everyone around you knows it's unhealthy and is visibly repulsed by your habits accordingly, yet they all expect you to just get over the addiction on your own and no one will help you. and you can even go out of your way and actually ASK for an intervention, doesn't matter one bit, not even your closest connections will lift a finger. because the media has brainwashed us all and split us into two categories with no room for in-between: you either believe there's nothing wrong with fat people and any instinctive feeling you have to the contrary surely must be incorrect, or you believe all fat people are lost causes, beyond help, no longer even deserving of help, no longer human, no longer fit for any purpose but to be laughed at. and no matter how much you beg for someone to help force you to eat less, no one will help, because neither worldview in that dichotomy is consistent with helping. you're alone with your drug, no one will come to take it away from you, in fact everyone is pushing it on you from every angle at all times, and you have to learn to just refuse the drug consistently every time, while the whole world begs you to take it. eating is universally regarded as a social activity, and food as a positive emblem of capitalist consumerism; in that sense, your whole culture stands against you, and you have to say no not only to yourself, but to it. you have to be the bad guy. to stop overeating, you have to become a public enemy of your own culture and lose all your friends and family. you have to endure the cravings in total isolation from every person or thing that could possibly help you, because they won't, they'll just try to cram more food down your throat. i know this from having lost the 140lbs.

Try Adderall

>> No.13321900

>>13321856
i've tried it, it helps but it also elevates my blood pressure so it's not an option.
i've also tried drugs that claim to have similar effects without elevating blood pressure.
in general, the result tends to be that i have more energy and higher mood, and then i put that energy and higher mood toward grocery shopping and go on more binges. so they aren't helpful.
i didn't behave in the same way on the adderall. on that stuff, i did actually opt to function in society instead, and i lost weight. but again, high blood pressure, not an option.
