Because you're trying to make all the ingredients on the same day. Take one day to make a great meat sauce and the ricotta filling as well. Letting the sauce sit over night will improve the flavor. Next day put it together and bake. Letting it sit overnight will make it better.

Lasagna is really easy. Even if you do it from scratch it's not difficult, just tedious.

Find a premade tomato sauce you like. Cook some ground beef, add sauce to it. Let it cool.

Boil your pasta.

Take a an alfredo sauce, heat it, melt in additional cheese of your choice. It doesn't matter if it's clumpy, it's going inside a lasagna as a layer.

Layer as many times as you want. Put cheese on top.

Bake in oven until heated through, set, and cheese is browned.

I have a noodle-machine that can make lasagna plates, i still don't know if I'm supposed to boil the plates before putting them into the lasagna, or can I use them raw? I don't think they get fully cooked by the sauce inside... help

You usually pre-boil, but you have to be careful since they easily stick together after cooking. You have to lay each individual sheet out.

You can cook it from raw, but you’d have to make sure your sauce is watery enough. Personally I’d pre-broil.
