I did it with bechamel once because this italian guy from Rhode Island claimed it was the '''right''' way to make lasagna. Such a bad idea.
OTOH, I like to add milk, eggs, parmesan and salt to the ricotta. It makes it tastier, plus it starts out more liquidy so it's easier to spread, then gets fluffy and solid from the eggs while baking. As far as I know, this is sacrilegious, but I like the results.
