Gotta vote for the Pasta Roni shells and white cheddar. Its easier than the rest, because no drain, no colander, and that beats the others which require boiling all the water, draining it and washing another fucking dish. Its also very easy to doctor up by adding extra milk, butter, and cheese, the powder sauce packet has enough emulsifiers built into it that it can smoothly melt some real cheese. Wanna go full ghetto meal? Dice up a hot dog or some lunch meat, throw it in. Perfect one pot meal.

I know you don't want real mac and cheese but it's 25% more time and better food. Melt half a bar of butter in a sauce pan, pour the same amount of milk into it. Have you precooked elbow mac ready and shredded cheddar ready. Toss in enough cornstarch into your cheddar to make it all white. just go to to town. Have a whisk ready. Start whisking your nearly boiling milk/butter and then toss in your coated cheddar in slowly and whisk. You're destroying the protein bonds in the cheddar so it turns into sauce. toss wisk, toss wisk. Then mix you cooked maccaroni in and you'll shit yourself at how good it is.

I bought a box of Kraft mac-n-cheese on a lark, and it was fucking tasteless. I even made it with good butter and heavy cream instead of milk. All these brands only work for children and people with nostalgia issues. Devour mac-n-cheese is passable for microwave mac-n-cheese though.
