I find myself more energized by the 8 oz red bull cans than even the giant rockstar or monster cans with quantifiably more caffeine. It's mostly placebo for sure, but if you're on a night shift or something I think they genuinely work.

It's the vitamins that give you energy. Caffeine just raises your cortisol and puts you into an anxiety state

If you're not fat then you're probably just tolerant to caffeine. I drink coffees these days and feel fuck all, but I remember times where I've drunk an energy drink or coffee after a few days or weeks or months without touching coffee or soda where it felt so empowering and uplifting it was almost a cocaine rush.

Caffeine affects everyone differently. Some people require more. Some people aren't affected by it at all. It's best taken with food. Caffeine takes 20 minutes to hit your blood stream.

If you're suffering from depression, the book 'Feeling Good' by MD David Burns can help.
It's about cognitive-behavioral therapy, a successful treatment for depression, dealing with negative thinking patterns.

(if you don't want to use Mediafire, look for it on libgen.is - it's a good site for PDFs in general - browse/download at your own discretion).

Also listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmDwl2-IZEk
It's an audiobook of 'Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway' by Susan Jeffers, a self-help book on overcoming anxiety.

You can also try some St. John's Wort (it's a plant) tea for immediate relief (I mix mine with Melissa for the calming effect).

It might also be nice to learn to meditate, as it can relieve your mind of negative thoughts. nperov.com for learning materials.

Or maybe you just have a vitamin D defficiency, see >>/sci/thread/S10221251 Go get some sun.

a sip thread. this is beast i missed you guys.

Favorite is still ultra violet, from monster. The Ultra paradise is good too. i like to buy both violet and paradise together, just to subliminal message into people getting the daily dose

but to be honest the new rein brand is a good deal if you want more bang for your buck 300mg of caffeine for about the same price.

Also fuck the the tea and coffee homos.

>It's the vitamins that give you energy.
Not really, unless you're really deficient in something. They just started adding the vitamins so people think they're having a healthy drink instead of just a bunch of caffeine. It's like 5 hour energy advertising it has 9000% of the b12 you need in a day so people don't think about the caffeine equivalent of a couple cups of coffee that's in it too.

it just ups your cortisol if you're having the sugar free ones.
cortisol release sugar from your muscles really fast but if you not eating enough carbs and going for sugar free energy drinks that could be your problem. was mine when i memed myself into keto for 2 years.
cortisol is bad tho and you don't want to pull glycogen out of your muscles and into your blood all the time - especially if you have any amount of insulin resistance (not even talk diabetic levels).
use sparingly.
i have one a few times a year on a bike ride because i like to stim but i know i'll burn way more energy than i normally would so i go for the sugary ones and carb up accordingly.
