>Wake up to go to work
>Drink an energy drink in the mornings where I feel really exhausted
>Now it's gotten to the point where I feel like I need to down one every day or I can't do anything

How do I get off this shit

chicken and broccoli imo

Just stop buying the stuff. It's a self-regulating problem.

When you feel the urge to drink one, yell NO!!!!!!!!!!!! as loud as you can and stomp your foot. It would be best if you took a week off work and get out of bed as little as possible. Think about things that will make you happy like chicken wings.

Stop drinking it. WOW, fucking complicated.

Taking a week off of work is how you curb any addiction. When I was becoming /fit/ that's literally what I did to stop eating like a pig.

Consciously taper off your consumption of energy drinks and go to bed a little earlier so you wake up well-rested.

If you keep up an energy drink habit for too long, you'll get cardiac arrhythmia and diabetes.

I do that too. Only I do it because I wanna die before I hit my forties.

>going to the energy drink section

>drinking it

Gee, I don't know. If only there was some stage in this process where you could stop yourself.

Gotta break the addiction brah. It's the only way. Life is gonna suck for a week or two. Hell, it took major surgery for me to break it. I figured if I was already going to be laid up for weeks and on narcotic painkillers anyway I wouldn't notice a few extra withdrawal migraines.

Get off the Caffeinated Jew.

Just go cold turkey on caffeine. I stopped drinking caffeine when I was in my teens, you realize how cancerous that stuff is when you're not addicted to it.

If you're suffering from depression, the book 'Feeling Good' by MD David Burns can help.
It's about cognitive-behavioral therapy, a successful treatment for depression, dealing with negative thinking patterns.

(if you don't want to use Mediafire, look for it on libgen.is - it's a good site for PDFs in general - browse/download at your own discretion).

Also listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmDwl2-IZEk
It's an audiobook of 'Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway' by Susan Jeffers, a self-help book on overcoming anxiety.

You can also try some St. John's Wort (it's a plant) tea for immediate relief (I mix mine with Melissa for the calming effect).

It might also be nice to learn to meditate, as it can relieve your mind of negative thoughts. nperov.com for learning materials.

Or maybe you just have a vitamin D defficiency, see >>/sci/thread/S10221251 Go get some sun.
