What's the most useless vegetable and why is it the artichoke? Wow, a plant that's 5% edible. Why do stores sell them? Who buys them?

Not a huge fan of artichokes either. There is some flesh on the elafs, in theory, but supermarket ones re never ripe enough or whatever, so only the heart is really edible. The taste is fine but not worth the effort.

I do mayo, lemon juice, fuck tons of pepper and a little salt, minced garlic. I could devour a whole artichoke with this stuff.

Celery root is as bland as a potato, a total pain to peel and too expensive considering they were just throwing them away 10 years ago.
