Depends on my mood and the food in question.
If it's something I cook all the time or it's cheap/shitty food, I'm not looking for an experience as much as simple nourishment and I'd have to be in a particularly good mood to feel like taking my time and considering what slop I'm shoveling.
Good or new food is always worth taking my time, save for camping trips where I gather wood and/or fish for hours and then make a fish stew or fry some eggs. That stuff's best enjoyed like a ravenous beast.

Growing up poor with eating being difficult at times, I tended to eat pretty quickly. Was always afraid of it being taken by my dad, so I never really enjoyed whatever I was given. That and honestly some of the stuff I had to make out of the limited ingredients we had wasn't the most appetizing, so stuffing it down my mouth was better than "savoring" the flavor.
Nowadays I've learned to slow my roll when it comes to food. Feels a lot better to eat at a slower pace, especially now that I'm not going hungry.
