Omg I have this problem. I get these big bloody blisters in there that I have to pop with a needle that I sterilize with a lighter.
Either I get them from biting or from eating something too hot. And they can turn into big painful sores that take days to heal. Biting is often the result of dental work that has changed the bite pattern. A dentist might be able to adjust your teeth by filing down the back molars to stop this from happening.
Avoiding crunchy things and chewing slowly and conscientiously helps prevent this. I'll go a week without biting my cheek, then I'll get overconfident and bite it again and suffer the consequences.
