Fish and mushrooms. Any other adult picky eaters here? What foods do you hate?

I like fish but kind of agree on mushrooms. I want to like them but haven’t been able to, the texture grosses me out. Diced up really fine they’re somewhat tolerable. Otherwise I like most foods.

>Grew up beside the ocean
>Never tasted sea food until I was 11 or so
>First bite of seafood had horrible salty taste to it
>Never ate seafood again

I hate lobster

I am not a picky eater because there are only a couple foods I don't like. Quinoa and sweet pickles are gross.

Your distaste is well placed. You shouldn't trust mushrooms, or fungi in general. There's something weird about them, and I think you are right to not enjoy them for that reason. Be careful around fungi.

I'm not a huge fan of fish but I force myself to eat it because it is generally a good healthy option assuming it isn't fried.

Why distrust them?

They're up to no good. I don't know what exactly, but they're scheming something. They're a weird organism. You shouldn't trust them.

Do you think they are intelligent lifeforms?

I can't say for certain, but they are certainly out of place.

Some people think that fungi came from outer space and landed here. What do you think about that?

>> No.12924156

>>12924028
I am not sure about that, but I wouldn't be surprised. They are very strange and ominous entities. Cooking with them seems foolish - it's like you are asking to get overtaken by the fungi overlord.

I wouldn't mind, tbdesu.

Only thing I try to avoid is plain yellow mustard, like French's, on things like sandwiches and burgers. Totally ruins the flavor. But I like dijon on those things, and love hot Chinese mustard on egg rolls. I use the coarse stuff a lot too, and everyone likes honey mustard. But that yellow French's shit makes me want to throw up.

i eat just about everything but cucumbers and grapefruit. fucking disgusting. i've never understood why so many people hate mushrooms though. they're one of my favorite foods. i think people just get traumatized from some shitty pizza restaurant where they use the shitty, rubbery out-of-the-can version and think that's what mushrooms are supposed to taste like.

The man said to not worry about. So don't worry.

Mushrooms seem to be the only food I will avoid eating if they're in the dish. I'll 3st anything that is prepared well. I like fish but my gf hates the smell so I can only eat it when shes away
