I like meat but I don't think humans were made to eat it daily. I lost the most weight when I was on a lighter meat diet, mostly having fruits and veggies and meat like 3-4 times a week.
If we take into account gathering berries and plants is way easier, the bulk of our diet would be that and then we would hunt for meat to take care of protein and other nutrients.
