Do you use it or are there better hot sauces?

>> No.12916458

I generally don't use sauces. I just add spices into the food.

>> No.12916466

use it for chicken wings
or a whole turkey hehe

If you just learn how to cook then you don't need hot sauce. Just season your food and stop adding cheap condiments

Having a nice amount if heat in the background, which you add during cooking, is nice, but with a hot sauce or any kind of sauce on the side you can have a different flavour with each bite.
Maybe add some hot sauce to one bite, some additional lime to the next, then plain, how is that a bad way of eating?

The problem with learning to cook is I have to get off my ass and do it and I enjoy doing absolutely nothing more than anything else

and yes.

Frank's is pretty good for stuff like buffalo wings or putting on eggs, but there are better ones to use on more "dinner" type food like pork chops or something

>> No.12916756

Why are hot sauce threads either complete memeing or just a bunch of guys shilling the sauce they like?
I like hot sauces from time to time. I use Tabasco, Sriracha, Red Hot and I bought Chalula lately.
Please describe the flavour of your favourite sauces as well as how hot they are compared to other hot sauces, that would be much more useful.

>> No.12916807

>>12916756
And to give an example:
Tabasco: well everyone knows it anyway, very acidic, medium hot, I don't dislike it personally
Red Hot: less acidic, but other than that similar
Sriracha: more texture, some small bits, gyrlicky
Chalula: watered ketchup with chili

>> No.12917013

>>12916427
Why would you even ask? Everyone knows to use only one hot sauce for everything. Different hot sauces dont pair with anything.

valentina is god tier. has a nice smoky flavor to it that most hot sauces lack. and like frank's it's more about adding flavor to your food than just scorching your palate. the best part is that it's dirt cheap. you can get a fatass 34 oz. bottle of this stuff for less than 2 bucks in most places.

Okay
Tapatio: has flavour, tastes good, smells good
Louisiana style: fucking awful
Franks: fucking awful
generic wing sauce: fucking awful

It's like all the hot sauces on the planet have that disgusting Louisiana/Crystal scent and flavour, it just fucking stinks and adds nothing. What can I get that's more like Tapatio?

For me, it's Trappey's bull sauce.
