Anyone else notice a pattern where they have slid into a vegetarian diet?
Every time i feel like shit after a meal it was a meal that involved meat. Ive never had a good meat experience. It dwindled until all i ate was chicken but even then i just felt ill after.
The only non vegan thing i eat now is cheese. Meat makes me feel like shit and i dont even care about the ethics.

Same. I used to constantly barf up weird liquids and mucus when I ate meat and cheese. Eventually I said: Begone with thee, foul fowls and bries! I shall rid of thou evil! My body shall become as pure as He Xiangu! and then I stopped buying meat and shit.
Now, I tend to dress nicer and more classier (from learning what not to do on /fa/, thanks /fa/), I'm much happier, and I suffer from less stomach issues. In fact, I haven't puked since last year which is amazing since I used to puke all the time. Also, ironically, my hair looks nicer. Usually vegans have really fucked up ugly hair but my hair looks much better nowadays than it did before, less dry and brittle, mainly. Not sure why. I think it's from eating a lot of avocados.

The only time I have ever felt sick from eating meat was from drastically over eating.

Yeah. I dated a vegetarian (not a vegan) for a while and so, naturally, I ate less meat when she would cook for me or I'd cook for her. So I'd only have meat when cooking for myself or when we went out for dinner.

Even after we broke up I found that I was pretty much satisfied with meat once or twice per week.

I don't think I'd ever go full-vegetarian, but I doubt I'll ever go back to having meat every day.

I was never fat. I was born underweight and I went through my childhood constantly puking up dairy products since I was forced to drink milk at my private school (don't know why this was a thing). I was always somewhat /fit/ engaging in a constant and rotating stream of physical fitness otherwise my chest would start hurting. I tried to be as in-tune with my body as I can.
Also, I never really liked soda. It makes my mouth hurt.

Sounds like lactose intolerance then.
Mongols and other steppe peoples eat lots of dairy, but do so in forms where the bacteria processes the lactose for them. Yogurt being one method of doing that, since the bacteria in it can manage that.
Works the same for the women of my family, who all have lactose intolerance.

In my country, milk is considered to be very important for children's development (mostly they say because of calcium for bones), and farmers groups have the power to force the government to buy their stuff in bulk at a regular quantity.
When I was a kid, they'd sell these small containers of milk to kids for 50c, when the same amount would cost 1.50 at a store. With the price being lower partially because it's sold by the farmers in bulk, but largely because it's ultimately the government that's paying for it.

I've never enjoyed eating meat. As a kid I'd eat the things that resembled meat the least (tendies, burgers, etc). As I grew up I began to question why I should continue to eat something I don't like just because everyone else does it. I wondered why people wouldn't eat dogs or cats, even horses, when pigs and cows are of comparable intelligence and emotional depth (as far as we can tell, at least). I determined that if I wasn't capable of slaughtering an animal myself, then I shouldn't reap the benefits of the slaughter.

No. Its not easy. Its not men't to be. It took me a few tries off and on and trying a lot of different food. Loving fast food was my biggest issue. But once I learned what I could still eat I learned to love it. Taco bell is now my go to. Spicy potato tacos and cheese bean and rice are preferred. You can sub meat for beans on anything and its still great. Pizza is also one of my go to. Any pizza without meat is till great.
Muchos has the best bean and cheese burritos by far from any place. One small and one regular is my favorite right now. Also beyond burgers are amazing. Its actually healthy if you get them with no mayo or any sauce really and no american cheese.
Making you own food is preferred but I understand people might not know how or have the time. Meat substitutes are a great way to get yourself into the diet. I eat morning star food all the time and you wanna know something funny? Vegan chicken nuggets and vegan bacon are better than the real thing by a mild margin in my opinion. Its also really hard to get sick off of pre cooked food and you don't and wont feel sick after eating it.
The best thing you can do is to just try meat substitutes and see if you like them. You have to know what you are going to be eating before you switch or it will be way harder. It also helps that I liked vegetarian food more than regular meat centered food. You also get to eat a lot more carbs because you don't get the fat from meat. I also get more protein on average than meat because beans and bread centered food are packed with it. You will start to feel great after a week or so meat free. Whatever you do don't by non organic veggies and fruit. Also never by anything from mexico unless you are 100% its safe.
