Will they ever bring it back, bros?
The new recipe is so underwhelming ;-;

Only redeeming qualities about the new recipe is that the bars don't crumble like hell when you bite into them, and doesn't stick to molars as badly like the old ones did. Only downer is that it tastes like complete ass now. Had they kept the flavor profile of the old bars, but with the consistency and texture of the new bars, I think it would've been a definite improvement.

Who knows, maybe they might pull a New Coke and rerelease the classic recipe sometime soon.

Stop eating candy you fat fuck

The new one is far better. I'm glad people hate it since I buy it at a closeout grocer for nothing.

That's doubtful because the underlying chocolate recipe was changed in the 1980s to make it taste more like stomach acid or puke.

Back in the mid 1980's the various company consolidations and buy outs had to be paid for so they cut corners and made everything cheap and easy by using butolic acid(?) in chocolate which makes it taste like stomach acid or puke.
Most people can't detect it, I can.

You can always make your own poison. When you stop eating shit that comes in brands, nothing can be taken from you.

It just tastes like you are eating slightly sweetened ground up peanuts now. The signature butterfinger flavor almost completely gone.

Doubtful, retard, since only Hershey uses butyric acid, and they've been using it for nearly a century.

The only recent development in chocolate bars is the use of veg oil/palm oil in place of cocoa butter and PGPR.

I used my fancy candy thermometer and they turned out decent on first (and so far only) attempt. You may want to try modifying the recipe to include confectioner's cornflakes like others.

peanut butter used was the kind with palm oil and sugar, not hydrogenated. Could probably use uncut peanut butter and it would just have a slightly more oily m o u t h f e e l
