What are the best Vodkas in your opinion?
More specifically in my case, what is the best Vodka I can get that is available exclusively in Russia?

Tito's is bretty gud, but it gives me a weird lingering aftertaste I don't care much for. I've heard Russian Standard is good, too, and apparently cheaper than Tito's. My friends like Svedka. Also, does anyone know if you can get Everclear 190 in PA?

Irrelevant. Put any cheap whatever vodka through your Brita a couple of times and enjoy.

Do people outside the US have use for such a thing? Our water is usually good

DESU if you're not concerned about microplastics anywhere in the world you're fucking up. That shit is in everything, regardless of how pure you think your water is.

Isn't Tito's made with corn? Not vodka, but not bad in its own class. Has a bit of a buttery sweetness to it. If you're looking to try something strange, Tito's mixed with coconut water has a unique taste that mixes quite well.
It's between Russian Standard and Stoli for the best Russian-style low-price vodka. I'll usually switch between whichever one is on sale at the time.

>doesn't realize that most vodkas have actual flavour profiles
Fell for the flavourless French-vodka meme.

Found Khor Platinum, so fucking clean it's almost medicinal and none of that puckering bitter shit you get from cheap vodka. Runs for i want to say $32 per 1.75L bottle here in commiefornia

Brita filters use activated charcoal, and are more for removing metal and mineral contaminants from hard water like chlorine and lead, etc, plus visible silt like calcium. I'm pretty certain they don't offer any promises on microplastics.

>> No.12850489

>>12850482
Then maybe you should do some research instead of going off of "pretty certain." They do. Pur > Brita though, especially over the life of a filter.

Done. The highest class of particulate filtering offered is Class I, which reduces a minimum of 85% of particulars greater than half a micron in size. This class of filtering is offered by most of Brita's bottle filters.
Waterborne microplastics range in size from 5 millimetres (1000 microns) to 10 nanometres (0.01 microns).

So, yes, you are filtering out some microplastics, Some. That's probably better than nothing, so I won't accuse you of falling for a marketing scare-tactic.

Vodka isn't only made with potatoes. Also, I hate coconut water, so I'll pass on that but thanks for the suggestion.

Vodka can be made from literally anything, like sugar, grains, or even dead cats. The definition of vodka is a spirit that is first distilled to near-azeotropic (>95%) abv to remove any distinctive flavor or aroma, then diluted to drinking strength.

It should say something like "cпиpт клacca: люкc" or "cпиpт пepвoгo клacca" on the label, you learn what each type of cпиpт is made of, and how, and you know how the vodka will taste. Everything else is marketing.
