Second worst noodles I've ever had (worst being MAMA). I have never seen so many retarded little green flakes in a flavor packet. I still have a mostly full box of that shit Nissin Demae pork flavor that I'll probably never use. I could substitute soy sauce or something instead but I end up just going with Mi Goreng instead, if for no other reason than the Nissin Demae noodle size is just large enough to be more than what I want to eat.
You're right about Nongshim though. Shin Ramyun Black is the less good nu-Ramyun, and it's less spicy than classic red (a lot of people seem to believe it's more spicy for some reason, maybe because black seems like more of a warning color than red on a spicy food's packaging).

I agree packs are better than cups. Cups are a huge waste of space and to the extent there's a pattern with quality pack versions always seem to give you better results. Cups are for people who eat noodles at work I guess, though I've never seen someone actually do this at my office. Seems like travel convenience at the cost of taste, and if you're just buying for yourself to stock up your home there isn't any reason not to go with pack boxes.

I can crack eggs. I just don't maintain a supply of eggs, or any perishable foods or drinks really. I don't use stuff like that consistently enough and I'd end up with a bunch of spoiled food sitting in my fridge or freezer for the next five years or whenever I finally get around to having a hazmat team clean out all my ancient leftovers. Much easier to not buy those things to begin with and stick with shelf stable items.
