Over an hour and some at a Black Angus once. A lot of people were pissed. I remember one guy telling the hostess it was the worst service he ever had and stormed out. When we finally got a table the food was pretty good.

Hour and a half for Salt Lick BBQ outside of Austin, TX. It was incredible, but my big takeaway was it ain't worth waiting more than a half hour for food. Pretty much every cuisine has a comparable competitor with a much shorter wait. Especially something like BBQ, I wish I knew back then that some of the most amazing BBQ can be found in more humble restaurants with little to no wait.
