Good morning, /ck/
What is your favorite breakfast?
I had pretty much pic related this morning, except it was on an onion roll with baby spinach.
Been off the coffee game for a while now, don't know if I'll get back on. It's nice not depending on caffeine.

This place near my house (that unfortunately closed down about a year ago) used to have this dish called Eggs Benicio. Two jalapeno cheddar corn cakes topped with pulled pork, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Damn it was so good, and making it at home has never been the same

Favorite recipe?
I tried making a bastardized version once using Campbell's tomato soup lmfao
It turned out horribly.

God, that looks good. I miss pulled pork.
I've been on a no red meat diet for a while now (just to try it out).

Fresh everything, and some time. It's well worth the 30 minute wait!

Favorite breakfast : a bowl of fresh fruit to start, followed by creamy, fluffy scrambled eggs on oat & nut bread.

My favorite way to eat eggs, though, is sunnyside up, but good scrambled eggs are comfy/10.

Eggs benedict. My favorite lazy breakfast is just poached eggs on toast.

I've actually never had a lox bagel. I feel like the raw red onion might be a little overpowering, no?

This. God, what an excellent meal.
Crab Benedict is one of the most indulgent foods out there.

Just exclude it if you feel that way, lox bagels can be made in many different ways. Personally, I throw a fried egg on top with a small dollop of pesto and a slice of tomato.
