It wouldn’t be profitable. I use fresh beef that I grind myself. It makes the burger taste insane. If you want actual good burgers I suggest finding a gourmet burger restaurant. McDonalds is 90% profits 10% quality while the other burger places would be more 50/50

I think the problem with McDonalds has always been that they don't give you any fucking meat, their original burger was like the smallest in existence when it first came out and they only recently added real size patties which are crazy expensive and still suck. Checkers is the best, you get some actual fucking food and they still have deals that don't make you pay $12 for a single meal.

Fit people can easily eat McDonald’s, even 1k calories worth, regularly. Cheat meals are a weekly occurrence for many fit people.

Egg McMuffins are a legit food they sell that i would except from cheat meals, protein smoothies too.

Weight loss is much more than, “stop eating shitty”. You could lose weight or not gain it to begin with while eating McDonald’s every meal. All you have to do is be very active.

I agree that there are more productive fast foods if protein is your main concern.

don't know if you care but I had a same experience. I realized I like the brand of McDonalds and the idea of McDonalds. in a way it's a part of American identity.
however, I also expect the food quality to correspond to the brand. but it is simply nowhere near what it should be. they can't hold to their "American icon" status while serving barely enjoyable cardboard burgers. either serve good food, or stop pretending what you're not and playing off nostalgia. or you will simply ruin the brand which you put decades into making.
if McDs wants to live up to their "icon" reputation, they should fix their food, period. no one asks them to be great. just be good enough. then we'll talk.

Not sure if it's just my local one but they still let you get the mcchicken for a dollar if you use the app through the "daily deal" thing, problem is you can only get one per day this way. I usually just get a couple sausage biscuits (also a dollar) to go with it if I want to keep it cheap.

It is pretty gross. The only acceptable thing on the menu is unironically the hot n spicy. Everything else is trash except for apple pies (which I hear got changed and are trash now) and the $1 sundae and 59c cones.

P.S. I forgot a sausage egg and cheese isnt terrible in the morning on the way to work.

It's a matter of choice.
If I was starving and been living on a diet of insects and worms, then McDonald's would taste like the nectar of the gods to me.
But if I had already been eating well and was given the choice between McDonald's and independent craft burger House, I would say McDonald's was bland.
Hell, given the choice between burger King and McDonald's, I'd pick burger King.
