This is really kind of impressive. I've owned 4 snakes (8' Emerald Tree Boa currently), and all of them coil naturally, like it's a cozy position. Necks, wrists, arms, just whatever bare skin they can find to chill against. I always figured the warmth was comfortable for them ... That kid is too big for that python to feed it so it won't mess with her unless she attacked it. It probably eats large rabbits every couple of weeks. This isn't like the anacondas you see that eat adult deer.

Though if I was the parent, I'd be concern about how her left arm is resting on top of the snake. By general rule, you don't hold/grip/grasp a snake unless you want to get snapped at or have business with it that unavoidably requires force. You lift gently from below and manipulate the direction they're going by by switching arm/hand placement. Restraining them only pisses them off and I've only ever done it to administer oral meds. Most snakes are extremely non-aggressive if you don't act like a spaz and start screaming and throwing shit at it.
