Best: Japanese, French, Italian. Japanese and French are polar opposites in terms of cooking philosophy which is why both are so good, they both excel at one extreme. Italians make the most use of the best ingredients for cooking.
Worst (not including 3rd world countries): Irish. I'm hesitant to even say the Irish have their own cuisine.

Well that's kinda unfair to bundle them up together. Surely Nordic cuisine is an acquired taste, but it's actually elaborate, unlike anything African which mostly consists of cooking everything in lots of oil, and even their tastiest dishes were influenced by the presence of Europeans during the colonial era.

Just recently I saw a book of Nordic recipes in a bookstore which was thick as fuck and packed full with recipes, next to it were a dozen books on African gastronomy that were barely as thick. That's how different they are. Not a fan of Nordic cuisine, but let's just flat out say Africa as a whole is characterized by an absence of taste, and a complete disdain for cooking.
