Noticed there was an awful amount of vegan bait threads today, so I made a thread for meat and meat based accessories. Post meat, talk about meat, give us your best meat recipes to combat the starving hordes of veganfags.

What do you lads like to season your burgers with? I like to use salt/pepper for the most part but sometimes I will use seasoned salt to flavor them.

Alright for real now, if you have never had a beef chuck rib or even better plate, I recommend you find your closest butcher who sources his meat properly and if it's a legit place, get your order smoked. Never knew fat could be so sweet on beef, truly a great experience.

With good quality chuck, you shouldn't need much seasoning.. salt is a personal favorite just cause and I prefer to season my grilled onions or even the cheese sometimes and get all that beefy goodness

Very nice. What are you seasoning your ribeyes with and how are you cooking them?

I rub them with olive oil then season with kosher salt and ground peppercorn. I heat my cast iron pan until it's smoking hot then throw the steaks in for about a minute per side until the sear looks good. Then I throw in butter, garlic and some rosemary/thyme and baste/cook until they are rare, then pull them and rest for a nice med rare
