My biggest tip, freezer on the bottom. You reach into it less, and it makes cleaning out the fridge easier.
Also, I prefer double doors instead of single.

Also get one with an ice maker. Doesn't have to be huge. Ice water is fucking delicious and I drink a lot more of it from the fridge tap

Also, I forgot to say, look for scratch and dent or returns for a better deal. I bought a brand new, still wrapped in it's pallet, satin finished stainless Samsung double door, freezer on the bottom for $500 less than the sticker price simply because someone had bought it, had it delivered, realized it wouldn't fit, and had it returned.
