How much do you guys tip?

When I'm alone and at a place I like I usually tip 100%+ depending what bills I have.
When I'm out with people or at an alright places I usually do 15%.

well, i'm not a virgin so i just do what's normal.

I tip my bartender 50%. Servers anywhere else get between 15 and 30

20% rounded up to the dollar
I've got a job but am still cheap as shit

>> No.12599902

it seems like a lot of people just tip with money but i just think if you are a waiter you would get bored of that, so i will leave a book or illustration or other small gift instead

As a boomer I find it's better to leave inspirational quotes. Many of the youngsters of today are lost and stuck in dead end waitress jobs and hooking on the side to feed their drug habits. Even a business card for a local church could save their lives

A few bucks so I'm not ostracized and dragged out of my house and publicly executed in the city square. Such is life when Israel owns your country.

I never tip. If they want a tip they should include it in the meal price.

Normally my formula is
Restaurants:
20%

Bars:
$1 per draft/bottle
$2 per mixed drink

I walked into an unexpectedly empty bar on Friday and tipped the guy $12 on two glasses of wine because it was slow and he looked grumpy about it.

You guys have lost whatever tattered shreds of credibility you might have had before 2016. Probably the greatest accomplishment of the current crop of hypocrites.

Apparently they take offense at how you wish to spend your own money. The right likes to attempt to control you and how you dispose of your resources and live your life, so you're under attack. Fight it or get used to it, up to you.

Edgy le reddddit response.Religion is just rules that work for centuries. You got a god tip and threw it away thus your line ends, replaced by someone who is religious.

Man I hate when people say this. It doesn't matter who's fault it was the service was shit. If service is shit they shouldn't get a tip, they didn't complete the job of making the customer happy. Doesn't matter the circumstances. It doesn't work like that in most industries - where people make excuses to pay more - so why should this one be different?
