What's up with Southeast Asians making videos cooking weird food in the jungle and acting like literal apes? What are we supposed to find these videos? Cute? Funny? For me it's just unsettling. If they acted like lizards or chickens or dogs they wouldn't unsettle me that much, but seeing people mimic chimps and cook weird stuff makes me so uneasy.

It started with the Primitive Technology channel. John got a lot of views fucking around in the bush in his shorts, and the copycat channels sprung up in Southeast Asia where they also had jungles. And while building a house if a sharpened rock takes a lot of effort, killing scorpions and frogs by throwing rocks at them and then eating them broiled over an open fire does not, and gets nearly as many clicks. That made it an easy money maker for any gook with a camera and an internet connection.

I guess that explains why now there are literally 10+ channels of guys making underwater pools now. Each video has millions of views which means a shitton of money in their country.
