How are you promoting weight-sensitive language around your food?

By exclusively referring to fat people as "fatty" even when I know their name.

By loudly calling them landwhales and mooing when fatties are around. I also take creep shots of them and my wife and I do fatty safaris and try to see the biggest one to surprise one another. I'll tell my kids being fat is gross and won't enable them

My dad still calls me "gordo" (fat), even now that I'm not fat anymore. I take it as a caring nickname. Firstoids are too sensitive.

from what ive seen they call anyone fat they like gordo, sometimes the women too(gorda). always runs through my mind how these hypersensitive nerds would get chewed up and spit out in any hispanic culture that doesn't really have political correctness

That's the nature of nicknames in Argentina. We're harmlessly mean. I call my parents "viejo/vieja" (old man/woman), and I have three darkish-skinned friends we call "negro + [name]" i.e Negro Lucas.
Gordo, negro, pelado (bald), lungo (lanklet), petiso/enano (midget), flaco (skinny), gringo (blonde), rengo (cripple), cabezón (big head) are very common nicknames among friends, and people take them as they are.

There was a guy in highschool with messy curly hair and we called him fluff lollypop. And other guy could grow a moustache at like 12yo so we called him "moncholo" (pic related)

Pretty much. I have a friend whose brother calls him gordo even when he's very thin, because apparently he was fat when they were kids and the name stuck until today.

A good way to keep stuff weight neutral with kids is to stop being so FUCKING FAT

What people might actually say is something like “Wow, I’m going to have to take a walk after I finish this”, in reference to a heavy meal

Actually, I guess I should say “calorically dense” meal instead

LMAO my husband will say "DAHHM" in a really low loud voice and keep making various noises and chuckles, and I have to turn around to hide my laughter. Whenever we're at the airport we do fatty safaris and take creepshots, too. What can I say? It's amore.

I had a wedding this month and since I found my nice clothes tighter than the last formal event I went for longer walks and cut down on the wine so I could fit into them by the time the day arrived.
It's mostly because I hate buying new clothes.
