LA has a lot of good Jewish delis. I always get deli when I'm there.
Also, if you go to Izzy's deli, go around the back to the alley, and look down behind the middle eastern place next to izzy's. If you're lucky, there will be some guys grilling the fucking tastiest salmon with onions and peppers I've ever had the pleasure to eat. Seriously.
