Most Americans eat at most ~1000 calories in one meal (unless it's thanksgiving). Often our largest meal of the day is dinner, which we eat with our families after we get home from working all day (usually 9 am until 5 pm). The only people eating 3000+ calories a day here are either bodybuilders/athletes, have a high metabolism, or are fat fucks (which is about 40% of Americans currently and mostly contained in the confederacy).
