Not only are you giving money to a piece of shit company that's trying to take over the world, you're doing so to get subpar food from the other side of the world delivered to your doorstep. It's bad for you, it's bad for society, it's bad for the environment.
Well done.

It's just MSG and chilli, you can do the broth yourself and learn how to make noodles from scratch. They'll be even better, you'll be able to serve it to guest without being ashamed and you'll learn new things to boot. Don't be lazy anon.

This is a Korean brand so I'd assume they use fermented chili (gochujang).

Ah fair enough sorry about that. A buddy of mine made a delicious kimchi recently. Fermentating stuff is a bit scary but if you read enough on the topic you can achieve marvelous results. You can do it anon.

My local Hmart stopped carrying these fucking things, I even went to japan (not for the ramen) and couldn't find any of these there either.

Did they just stop selling them in retail stores?
I'm not about to spend $50 to get some ramen shipped to my house.

They taste like shit now.
A Korean girl on vacation gave me one way back in 2011 and they were deliciously. Now they're ass.

If any place should have them it would be H Mart since they're a Korean chain. Otherwise I see them at pretty much any Asian grocery store I go to, just keep looking. Maybe they changed the packaging idk

They're in my asian supermarket. They're alright, the flavor gets lost but it's nice when I want to throw some leftover meats into something spicy for a quick meal.

I also live in Maine, and when I went down to Mass. I hit up an asian food store, and literally bought 2 packs of the same brand of ramen.

What are the odds.

This is a Korean brand, so it's no surprise you failed to find this brand in Japan.

Really? I only lived there for a few months but it seemed pretty based. Girls were fairly easy to pick up at Old Port. I’m guessing being not white helps in a super white area like Maine. I also liked the Alagash White beer

My brother bought me one of those from the local Asian market recently. It's definitely pretty high-quality for a packet ramen. Not bad at all for latenight drunken snacking.
Kind of a large portion, though. I can finish it easily enough, but I really don't need the extra calories.

I've looked in every asian market type store and never been able to find the 2x spicy only the regular one.
Methinks it's because they think it's too spicy for Americans.
