Serious talk. Where is the best pizza place you ever ate ?

Me in Paris.

San Francisco, no doubt. The Italian heritage there makes for some awesome pizzas and Italian foods. I wish I had a pic, but I don't.

My friend had a bunch of pizza parties while he was practicing making them before he opened his Italian restaurant. We came up with some great topping combos. He only makes a few different ones at the restaurant now so it's not as much fun.

Most satisfying was probably just some shitty slice after a night of drinking

I like the chicago style thin crust with a lot of salt and table-top parmesan. The square cut kind. Chicago is mostly known for deep dish but that sucks, their thin crust is underrated.

that's the key, it kinda depends on what you are looking for. sometimes the ordinary pizza is just what you need.

I'll tell you where the best pizza in the world isn't: New York City. For the simple fact that they already believe themselves to have the best pizza in the world. They won't innovate or improve. They're stagnant. This is most evident by the fact that they have invented a new way to categorize pizza in order to protect their pride. There's "New York Pizza" and everything else. You can give a New Yorker any pizza you'd like, it could be the best pizza they've ever had, and they'll always say the same thing if that pizza wasn't made in New York. "Dats a good pizza. But it ain't a NEW YORK pizza."

tl;dr: Fuck New York and your shitty pizza.
