Do you eat to get full and beyond?
Or what science said: stop at 80 %

>> No.12411553

if stopping at 80% is such a good strategy why doe we survive with the instinct to cram it in to 99%

I hate being full and bloated, makes you sleepy and lazy. I stop when I'm satisfied, about 60-70%.

Because for most of human existence until about 100 years ago, food was constantly scarce, so the best strategy for survival was to load yourself up until you can't swallow a single bite more if you're lucky and hit the food jackpot since you may or may not have secured your next meal.

>> No.12411660

i find that eating slower results in being satisfied with less food. meaning slow down and you wont be a fatass. it seems like theres ten minutes between being hungry when i start eating and when i feel full

OMAD because I'm lazy and it's the only way I've gotten my hamgalaxy below solar system sized.
When I say that, I mean below 250 lbs @ 5'10" I know mot of you are well north of 400lbs at that height and consider me a hamasteroid.

But we all have different scales of acceptability. I'm not a Chad either I'm just average.

Have some Yuropoor hate from /pol/

I eat pretty slowly and usually stop when I feel full or just before it. I used to eat until I felt stuffed but I stopped doing that because I wanted to be able to do shit after I ate and not feel like a fat fuck and have to sit down for like 20min after a meal. I usually eat about 2 meals a day (breakfast and dinner, or lunch and dinner depending on my work schedule).

I do OMAD keto, at lunch. Usually a 400g steak and maybe a few sausages or something on the side. A piece of unsweetened dark chocolate to top it off. I've done OMAD off keto before and it's true you feel less hungry on keto for sure, but the idea that your desires for bad food go away is bullshit and pure cope.
But yes, I lost the same amount of weight doing both, so you definitely can. I just like the benefit of not being as hungry.

>> No.12415647

I always eat as much as I can to maximize the time before I have to make food again. I don't make overly fat, or sugary foods though so I don't really gain weight. If I can choose I "overeat" on the greens. Sometimes it's a ton of carbs though.
