Try traveling a bit. You'll realize that Europeans actually have a pretty shitty food culture. Most countries do a few things well, but there isn't much else, and the good stuff is only when they eat out; even French people typically eat garbage akin to your typical flyover most nights. Yes, they can get higher quality bread and wine at any corner store than you can get anywhere outside of a California or NYC specialty store for a tenth of the price, but they literally eat that shit every day.

I was using that as an example of a place that is typically held in a high regard in America (even most French restaurants in the US that haven't changed since the 70's are typically expensive). When you actually go there you realize that they don't really eat any better than Americans, and in a lot of ways they eat a lot worse. The fact that you're, "getting into cheap slavic food" tells me that you probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but unless you're a complete poorfag I'd still suggest spending some time aboard (once Trump is long out of office).

I’m not Scandinavian but I’m a midwest-cuck, both of my grandparents on my Dad’s side were Norwegian. I remember a lot of bland food, dill in pretty much everything, tough/gross bread, weird cheese, flavorless lamb chops (Oddly enough there was not much seafood [even salmon] but that was probably due to the location and my grandfather’s shellfish allergy.) I don’t know if the food was bad because my grandmother was a terrible cook or if Norwegian food is just crap in general.
They also would put eggs in their coffee and it was cloudy with lumps of egg white in it even after it was strained, fucken weird. I think that’s more of a midwestern American thing though.
