I prefer the black over the red. Red is just more heat in place of flavor. The broth also has this really comforting dark brownish-orange color. It's like a palm tree sunset t-shirt your aunt would give you when she came back from vacation in the 1980's.

Just one pack of these is the best way to get myself sickeningly full because of how I need to drink so much milk and eat so much sweetbread and ice cream along with it. I've had much spicier stuff (in terms of SHU), but this stuff knocks me out for whatever reason. I have one more pack left, but I don't think I'll ever have another one for the rest of my life.

Agreed, this is my second favourite ramen now (with egg mixed in).

Top for me is Ansungtangmyun, I add some fish sauce as well and some dark soy sauce if I'm feeling meaty. With egg mixed in too - once I tried the silky mixed egg method I could never go back to regular.

i really love these noodles but man they are spicy as hell. so i started to put less sauce in it and it's so much better. i can actually eat it so good.
i could only eat it once with the whole packet.
