my opinion is that these are the most beta of the betas.
they all spend their lives online, do everything for views and likes, and in order to 'fit in' they need to look the role.
the current numale dress requirements are the glasses, the unshaven face (to prove at the very least there's a Y chromosome somewhere in their bodies), the "i sit all day at my computer and eat' physique, and starwars/capeshit/video game tshirts.
this alt 'nerd-culture' used to be the catalyst for many a beating, but since the internet rules everyone's life now its mainstream, meaning if you arent part of their subculture youre gonna get your beating in a non-physical way.
They want to relate to their contemporaries but they wont get their views and likes if they dont look the part, he would appear as an interloper and at the least disingenuous.
So take veganism now. It's the way to get your internet points from the hyperaggressive left, so if they've already changed most everything about them to fit-in with their subculture, modifying their diet to virtue signal is a breeze.
Humans arent vegan. humans are omnivores, if you have any doubt look at your teeth, its scientific proof. But science is only convenient when it fits their narrative/agenda and its easily conflated with pseudo-science and tumblrista psycho-babble.
