This is it! What are you drinking? Do you grow your own tea and/or tisane herbal plants? Do you use a sweetener, if so, what kind(s)?

It is cold and rainy outside. It has been this way for days. Here's what I'm drinking. It is hot, spicy, bracing, and ultimately warming and soothing.

Finishing off some laoshan roasted oolong. Not the most nuanced tea, but its got a nice barely malt flavor with fruity undertones.

When I have money would love to grow mint. Free bruised leaves and steeped in hot water is kino as hell.

Probably. It all depends on what was done to it. It is just a type of mint. Get a couple plants. Plant them in well draining soil. Spread their seeds all over. Never run out of catnip.

>> No.12323686

Every morning I start off with green tea. I used to start off with black tea that was basically builder's tea, but the green tea is better on your digestive system first thing in the morning. Then later after I've eaten, I have my hefty builder's tea (strong assam with milk). In the afternoon, I'll drink either darjeeling or earl grey until about 4 o'clock, then I switch to herbal teas because I'm an insomniac as it is, I don't need anything keeping me awake. I usually have rosehip and hibiscus tea, lavender and honey tea, or passionflower tea in the late afternoons, and at night I have either chamomile or Sleepytime with Echinacea if it's cold or allergy season.

>> No.12324161

>>12323686
I've never heard of builder's tea before. also, I make sure never to eat/drink anything with caffeine after Noon and to never eat or drink anything other than water after 5pm to ensure I'm asleep by 10pm. Any food or calories before bed sorta wakes your brain up for another 5 hours.

Yes, the best if you can do is find a seller that sells wildflower honey from various parts of the state. I did once and you notice different places have different flavors. I had one from Geneva Florida that was sweet and buttery. Another from central Florida that was more fruity.

I have exactly 1kg of trash-tier tea. I have drank it exclusively for the past few months, and it has been an agony.
Black tea with artifcial fruit flavor, very powdery. So bitter I could cure leather with it. Camellia Sinensins grown in India, so it has the worst of both worlds.
You see, this tea used to be my favourite as a kid. When I moved out, my mom handed me 1.75 kg of it, because she thought I'd drink it all day long like I used to.
Now that I have suffered enough in drinking it, I'm tempted to trash it all. But that seems wasteful. Is there any other uses for this amount of tea, other than drinking away?

Yes, I used to drink it with ice, lemon, and sugar, too. I swear, it used to taste like the best shit ever. Well, best out of any supermarket brands, that is.
Not sure if they changed the recipe, because it just tastes like death, these days. Pretty sure they did, though. It's nothing like I remember it being.
To answer your question, well, it's about not wasting (and not upsetting mom when she sees its spot empty).

Do you have a specific tea that you like iced for warmer weather? As for me, it's gotta be sencha brewed strong with 1.5x the normal amount of dry leaf.
