I drank too much on christmas eve (over 750ml of jameson) then during christmas I kept sipping on it to not be hungover with guests and I puked on the train in denver when I flew there the day after. I felt better after sleeping and took 2 weeks off of boozing after that. Anything over 500ml or about 10 shots is too much.

Protip: zzzquil and melatonin if you can't sleep and dramamine for anxiety

That said a morning after drink can actually be better than stopping entirely after binging. Just drink a 4% beer then switch to coffee and you'll feel better by noon.
