Did he believe anything of what he said about them? Every time I watch an older video of him and I see him advertising them it just seems like he's thinking to himself: it's utter garbage but these motherfuckers pay like crazy so whatever

I feel bad for Marco. He literally crawled his way out of poverty through hard work and sheer determination and now his kids are losers who will die penniless drug addicts.

He doesn’t care as long as he gets paid. He’s said a hundred times that he’s stopped giving a fuck about what anyone thinks of him. He’s accomplished more than most chefs ever have and doesn’t need validation from the likes of you and me. So, if knorr wants to hand him boatloads of money to pitch their product he will take their money for basically zero work.

Slow down there man I never said I disliked his cooking. In fact, I really praise the man for all he has accomplished and what he shared with the world. Brutally honest dude but gives credit where credit is due. It's just that I refuse to believe that someone who is so well acquainted with all the herbs, spices and seasonings the culinary world has to offer would say that a mass produced stock cube is so much better with conviction.

if you really watched his videos then you would’ve seen him say that knorr is good for the working class when they need to make dinner after their shift or for mothers

>I refuse to believe someone would accept fat paychecks to shill for a product
Then you're pretty dumb, my dude.

I think his argument is (if we’re pretending there is any validity to it at all) is that if on a Monday night, and you want to make a salmon with cream sauce, adding some stock powder into the sauce is a quick and easy way to make it flavorful.

At least that’s what I did one night this week.

he can't be that honest if he's shilling shit he probably doesn't believe. We'll never know anyway because he's too worried about free money

Sounds like you're trying to create an argument out of nothing but envy because he gets paid.

Exactly, these chefs understand the reality of everyday household cooking and that not everyone is going to be able to make their own chicken stock for their soup when they have three screaming children to feed who need to be at soccer practice in an hour and a half.

I’m sure when he says that using beef stock pot on a steak instead of salt and pepper is total bullshit, but knowing how awful the taste of your Briton is, it’s not hard to believe his audience actually can’t eat meat without msg and pounds of shit seasoning.
