I fucking love pickles. All kinds. My absolute favorite though, are the pickles my mom and my Oma used to make. I haven't make them myself because I don't have enough storage or counter space for an endeavor like that, but fuck, they're good. They called them salt pickles, and they'd add wild grape leaves at the bottom of the jar to add tannin to keep the pickles crunchy during the fermentation process. So fucking delicious. The closest pickle I've found to theirs are the half-sours at my local eastern european market.
But, I eat all brands and all kinds of pickles. Fermented pickles are the best, but vinegar cured pickles are great too. Sour, half-sours, bread-and-butter, sweet gherkins, cornichons, giant dills, kosher dills, spicy pickles, garlic pickles....whatever, I'm on it. And that's just the cucumber pickles.
I also love pickled okra, pickled asparagus, pickled garlic, pickled beets, pickled eggs, pickled peppers, pickled....whatthefuckever. Gimme all of them....

for pickles, it's pic related. any variety. it's a shame the packaging is such a cocksucker to open or close. it's bad enough that they had to make a "how-to" on their website. but the pickles are tops
