Popeyes was disgusting 2 years ago and it has only gotten worse. Their tenders are like an 1/8 thick and rubbery and the biscuits just taste pretty much like raw flour. Fries are way too greasy and disgusting. Their breading is literally okay but it’s just crunchy and doesn’t really taste like anything. It is the embodiment of what poor black people thought they ate growing up

Culvers legitimately has a great burger, and all chains should indeed introduce fried cheese curds because they are inherently better than fries, plus their onion rings are better than the other guys' fries too

I think there are two fast food tier options, if you are primarily concerned with cost go get McDoubles at McDonalds, nothing competes with that cost/taste mix. If you don't need it dirt cheap and want a quality burger but still convenient and relatively fast go to Culver.

If you want chicken go get your mom to drive you to Chickfila

Culver’s cheddar double is about 5oz of meat, with fries and med drink is about $9. Five guys is about $10.50 for the same but unlimited burger toppings and you prob get more fries

Culvers doesn't charge for toppings either dude. I always get the fried onions because any burger should have fried onions

I usually get the double cheddar butter burger with bacon and I am almost certain it is closer to $7 with fries and drink. Though I usually upgrade my side to onion rings or curds for a little extra
