That soup looks amazing. My family raises asparagus and every spring we end up eating a couple pots of Asparagus Soup but we make it more like you'd make a pot beans; Water, Seasoning Meat, and cut up asparagus. Only other thing I know that goes into it is dumplings (like the chicken and dumpling kind) but man if it ain't nice to have. Still prefer it sauted with some italian seasoning

They taste great though. A bit of olive oil in a pan, sprinkle the asparagus with a bit of salt and cook them on medium heat for about ten minutes and you're good to go. Easy cleanup and to cook them is easy enough for a 21st century cat mom to not fuck up.
