The merengues came out like shit and my gf and I got into a fight that night so the crème brûlée’s never happened. I would have much rather had shit crème brûlée than shitty merengues. Cracked and deflated. Chewy but flavorful. I used half a vanilla bean and a little lemon juice.

I love gin very much and have been trying all kinds of combos but this is my favorite so far:
in a highball:
gin
cherry juice
sparkling water

balance as you like but should be around 3/4 oz gin with some ice cubes and fill the rest with about 70% juice 30% water

Benchmark 9. $9.99 per bottle, and while it's low shelf, it mixes great. No need to waste money on higher shit when you are cutting it. I started with Bulleit for my mules, now I go half the cost with the cheaper shit and it's just as good if not better. (Also depending on your location, Kroger has a ginger beer that's half the price of Goslings, and even spicier if that appeals to you).
