Not Impossible, Dr. Praeger's. No Corn.

I had them years ago when they were the only cheap veggie burgs in town where I lived. They were definitely good, and get points for being different from other veggie burgs. Black bean patties will only take you so far.

No. But I want to. I actually kind of want a cookbook that is just a compilation of corporate marketing recipes, like that hot Dr. Pepper with lemon thing.

That's what impressed me. Black bean burgers are okay, but I hate how most recipes for them involve a ton of bread crumbs or other carb-heavy fillers.

That's why I hate them too. It's like eating a slice of bread on a bun. Somebody said to try and mix a bunch of cheese in with the beans to help make it a little more substantial, which might work. Otherwise you're probably better off just having a bean burrito where you can add a fair bit of cheese and actually make it filling.

I ate a veggie burger, a small one. Next day I was shitting a lot of corn. Considering the price of a veggie burger and that of corn, I felt ripped off.
On the plus side, I was glad I figured out where all that corn could've possibly came from.
