the science is settled, so what is the best meat for a vegan to eat in order to avoid both losing his teeth and mind? I vote calf liver, sauteed in bacon grease.

rejection of objective reality is one of the primary indicators of mental illness. Might want to get your vitamins checked, and eat a steak or three. hopefully the damage hasn't yet progressed to the point of irreversibility. can't be too careful, the folic acid in the vegan diet tends to mask the symptoms of chronic B deficiency until its too late.

I dont know about anybody else, but if I've gone a while without red meat I start to feel it and once I have it again its like a relief of primal urge. satisfying in the same way that ripping through a rotisserie chicken after long day training feels, but even more so.

Not really, although it's not the best diet since we're obviously omnivores. A lot of omnivores are unhealthy because of their diet though, just including animal products doesn't necessarily make you healthy.

I was vegetarian for a couple years and started having really strong cravings for the taste of iron, to the point where it was making it hard to concentrate. I ate like 3 lbs of beef and a few blood sausages over the next few days after that but by the end I was sick of it again. So I eat meat about once a week now.

That was my point.

>> A lot of omnivores are unhealthy because of their diet though, just including animal products doesn't necessarily make you healthy.
Agreed; an omnivore diet is not necessarily a healthy one. But a vegan diet is guaranteed to be deficient by definition.

not true. vegans can get all the vitamin b they need by eating healthy ethical cow dung every now and then. a patty a day keeps the voices away.

Most with B deficiencies are not vegan. Humans are just very inefficient at absorbing it. Everyone should be supplementing B12 regardless of diet, eating much more whole plant foods for the others. Farmed meat is just an intermediary for manufactured B12 anyway.
